The main logo combines the full name of the company with its abbreviation and icon— the gem.
The DMD gem represents all that Donna Menne Designs values: authenticity, craft, and beauty. I created the icon to have rough edges and sharp lines to balance the handmade aspect and precise cuts of gems.
The Design Experience, a subsidiary of Donna Menne Designs, focuses on building jewelry to suit the customer's tastes precisely. The logo for The Design Experience utilizes the same key elements of the main logo (type, the gem) but puts a more classic spin on it in the form of a circular badge.
This logo was designed for a collection within the DMD brand. The collection used 5 different positive words on the pieces of jewelry. I wanted to create something bold and punchy, but still true to the larger DMD brand.
Some of the assets I designed included backgrounds for laptops, phones, and tablets. DMD's tagline was included in several of them, in addition to the signature gem.
